My family & I stayed at St. Regis so we ate here twice for brunch & once for dinner. Brunch was amazing. Definitely a nice selection of Japanese food & each one tasted better than the next. The pork rice was probably the best “Asian” style rice we’ve ever tried & will never forget! It was amazing. The servers were all so kind & helpful. It also has a nice view of the water. We had really high hopes for the sushi, and while it was good, I would say the other items were better.

I went to Miro for my friend’s birthday, and it was such a great experience from start to finish. They really took amazing care of her. we even got a beautiful complimentary cake plus another small one, which made the celebration feel extra special. We were taken care of by Carlos and Kevin, and they were both incredibly professional and attentive. The service honestly made a big difference. The food was delicious and unique, especially for brunch, not your typical brunch menu, which I loved. And the view is just beautiful. The whole atmosphere was great, everyone was welcoming and smiling, and it just felt like a really positive experience overall. Would definitely come back again!

Good and fancy sushi place located in the St. Regis Building. The restaurant itself is quite nice and cozy, service is ok but honestly for the level expected was a bit "normal". Food is good and fresh, the taste shows the quality of the ingredients. The desserts actually were super good, the one that seemed a stone was a chocolate shell with cream and sponge cake inside, it was very nice! Waiting times were quite long.

We attended the St. Patrick’s Day party at Miru this year and it was simply wonderful! It’s a pretty large space with two buffet stations, multiple bars throughout the floor, special drink stations, extensive coffee bar and a candy bar with to-go bags. There was a live DJ playing Millennial bangers and today’s hits. I can’t speak highly enough of the space – there was still room to walk, you weren’t shoulder to shoulder and the floor is long enough that you couldn’t really hear the DJ from the east end, which is great if you’re looking for a more chill vibe. The drinks were good and flowing! Food was super delicious, and there was a good variety from breakfast items, bao buns, chicken nuggets, french fries, mini sliders, rice entrees and sushi. There’s a few high tops and bar areas where you can stand to eat. Otherwise, it’s purely standing room only –unless you paid for a table. We paid for the general area, but there was another closed off section for a more VIP experience. It looked like the GA and VIP used the same outdoor terrace area, but the VIP side was sectioned off and offered tables and chairs. The GA terrace side was standing only. It was chilly, so folks didn’t hang outside too much. But even with that, the indoor space wasn’t overly packed. There was a good view the of the river dying. Everyone was really considerate when viewing –folks would look, take photos and then move for others to see. The price was a bit steep after the service fee and tax, but it’s a nice experience to try at least once!

visited during chicago restaurant week, and the menu did not disappoint. for $60, you get a taste of everything they had on the menu as opposed to having to choose between the options. the stars of the menu were the temaki sushi and wild mushroom sizzling rice. the fish was so fresh and the rice was delicious and filling. the service here was also amazing. staff were attentive and our meal flowed smoothly from one course to the next
