Really great dinner experience with amazing cocktails (a gintonica the way they should be!) superb smart food and excellent service. Especially liked the crudo which was intensely good and the charred spring onions and the quail. Excellent wine list - small but very well considered. Service was outstanding.
Went for my partner's birthday and had a great time and wonderful meal. Every dish had great flavor. The basque cake for dessert was so delicious. Service was great and personable. We will def be back!
Pretty average and definitely not worth the money. Have plenty of thoughts, mostly that 20% auto gratuity for a rude bartender to be your server feels excessive. The food wasn’t bad, the Suzuki crudo was great, although expensive for the size. The cauliflower was very tasty as well. The specials were a real low point. They also are charging $18 for pre-batched cocktails and were unwilling to make one fresh when my girlfriend asked if tequila could be substituted. Overall just left a bad taste in my mouth and wish the meal went differently.
My friends and I had a great time. We went during the restaurant week. The menu was excellent and they were very accommodating to dietary restrictions even within a set menu. Cozy place and you can actually have a conversation in spite of a moderate noise. We loved the "Vasquez" drink and the basque cake of all the items. The charred cauliflower was excellent as well. Excellent time, overall!
Awesome spot, sat at the bar with great service. Courses come in three rounds, which the kitchen times perfect. Each round gets better and better. Our courses 1) cantabrian anchovies: good, easy salty starter 2) croquetas de pollo: great, cooked perfectly to that crispy texture 3) Rabbit sweet potatoe Gnochi (special): The sauce that comes with these was absolutely fantastic, meat was tender and paired perfectly with the gnochi
