Ina Mae is a solid choice for a relaxed Sunday brunch in Wicker Park. The atmosphere is great—on a nice day, they open the windows and doors to the patio, giving the whole place a breezy, open feel. It was busy but not overwhelming, making it a comfortable spot to grab a seat at the bar. The Service I was seated at the bar immediately. The bartenders were attentive and courteous. Service was efficient, so I never had to wait for a refill or the check. The Food & Drink • Hushpuppies: Very well-fried with a moist center. The pimento honey butter was tasty, though it could have used a stronger pimento flavor. • Fried Shrimp Po’boy: A good, reliable sandwich. The bread was crispy and it was packed with plenty of shrimp and all the right toppings. The Verdict With the Cubs on TV and a decent playlist in the background, it’s a great spot for straightforward dining without any fuss. On a scale of "bad, good, or amazing," Ina Mae fits firmly in the good category.

Incredible po-boys with the best fried shrimp and bread. I grew up in NOLA and this is hands down the best po-boy I have ever had outside of my home town. The red beans and rice are also delicious and can’t wait to go back and try some of the other menu items.

Well, I guess you don’t go to a tavern for food. That’s on us. Bland asl. Edible I suppose. Spent over $45 for food we didn’t pack up -Mac with hard cheese on top, dry -crab cake (that had mad salad on it) not seasoned well -biscuit was ok…dry, but ok -deviled eggs pissed both of us off Service was decent. Nothing to say about that :) wasn’t too busy or crowded on a Saturday night, so we gave it a go. thanks for being nice

Not sure where to start. My son booked a table for the family and the minute we walked in the vibe jumped out at you. We started slow with drinks then shared a ton of food. Each dish was better than the next. Then a smooth live band played awesome back round music. Highly recommend

Really good southern food here. The portions and price suck but the flavor and service is there. I ordered the fried shrimp. Good batter, not super crispy though. And the shrimp were medium and not super cooked like I prefer for the texture but still really good. The buttermilk biscuit was perfect. The Mac n cheese was pretty good as well just oily. It's sort of like a sports bar inside. There's also seating outside. Again pretty good, just of they lowered the prices or beefed up the portions it would be aligned in value.
