For us, Siena Tavern is like an oasis in the middle of the city. The space is huge. They've got a beautiful outdoor patio, a massive wraparound bar, a cocktail area, and a pizza bar. They really designed the place so you can relax instead of feeling packed in shoulder to shoulder. The food is consistently good. Every visit has been excellent. The portions are generous, and more importantly, tastes great. The service is five star. The staff is genuinely attentive and engaged, and the happy hour is one of the most generous in the city. It's been a River North local favorite for years. For happy hour, pizza, or a full dinner, it's a place that's easy to recommend and one we keep going back to.
We enjoyed our experience here! Our waiter was very attentive and polite, service was decently fast even around 8pm when it was very busy! Food was delicious, would recommend the salmon. Any time a place has tiramisu I am absolutely trying it, this one did not disappoint but I wasn’t blown out of the water. Would come back!
Not an exaggeration by any means, but the Rigatoni Alla Vodka I’ve eaten here is quite possibly one of the best pasta dishes I’ve eaten anywhere in the world. That sauce is worth a king’s ransom. We also ate the pancakes, chicken sandwich and the kale salad and everything was lovely. Our server Daniela was courteous, friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back! Best Italian fare in town
We had a great experience at Siena Tavern. We sat outside and enjoyed the gorgeous weather. We shared the diablo pizza 🍕 drizzled with hot honey, so yummy. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful. It has a great vibe. I would highly recommend!
From the moment the hostess greeted us, the experience was very pleasant. Everyone was so kind. The menu is varied, and the waitress did a great job explaining the dishes to us. All our choices were spot on—we loved everything. The food was flavorful, portions were good, and the price was very fair. It was a great dinner! Everything was excellent.
