S & T Steakhouse is a true hidden gem that is easy to miss, so be sure to keep an eye out for it! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, laid-back, and feels like a welcoming neighborhood spot. Our server, Yenny, was an absolute delight and provided wonderful service. A highlight of the meal was the complimentary chicken tostada served with my fish entree—it was a total eye-opener. Everything we ordered was excellent. If you are in the Bucktown area, I highly recommend stopping in for a fantastic, relaxed feast.
A fantastic evening at S & T Steakhouse in Bucktown! The food was absolutely outstanding—from perfectly prepared steaks to incredible flavors in every bite. The warm atmosphere and attentive service made the experience even better.
This review is a little overdue, but it's definitely well deserved. My recent visit is still on my mind. My family brought me her, and I'm pretty particular about where I order a steak. It's one of my favorite meals. I ordered the ribeye cooked medium, paired with a lobster tail and sauteed vegetables. The steak was cooked exactly as requested, tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The lobster tail was perfectly cooked and complimented the steak. The sauteed vegetables were fresh and seasoned just right. From the quality of the food to the overall experience, this meal exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a place that knows how to prepare great steak, this spot is absolutely worth the visit. I'll definitely be back! The service was impressive everyone was welcoming, attentive, without ever feeling rushed.
I had a delightful experience at S&T Steakhouse. We started with the Buffalo Special, and the sauce was unlike any traditional buffalo sauce I've had before—rich, thick, and packed with flavor. Next, we tried the Sweet & Zesty Tostadas, both the beef and chicken versions. They were absolutely delicious, but the beef tostadas were definitely my favorite! For my entrée, I chose the Classic Ribeye. The steak was incredibly tender and cooked perfectly. My recommendation: definitely add the cheese—it takes the dish to the next level. It was accompanied by crispy, well-seasoned fries that complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, my experience was a 10/10. The food, flavors, and quality exceeded my expectations. Great service and atmosphere. I will definitely be back soon! 🍽️🥩✨
The owners were wonderful! You can tell they have a passion for their business and me and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The ambiance was very romantic and the food was delicious. The owners are a beautiful married couple and we had the pleasure of being served by the lady and her husband was the chef! They truly have a passion for their work and it's really wonderful to see local business owners thriving in Chicago. We ordered the twin lobster tail which came with tostadas, we got chicken. We also got the Cajun pasta with chicken and that was my favorite. The choices of sauce for the lobster were very unique and delicious. They also comped us a beautiful carrot cake with ice cream that was delicious and a unique way of having carrot cake for me! It was a beautiful dining experience and a great place for date night. It is BYOB so we'll definitely be bringing drinks next time. Loved it!
