We had a reservation and were 10 mins late so we sat at 11:40. Our waitress got us started with some waters but didn’t come back for 20 mins. We placed our food order around noon. It took 22 mins. I kind of expect that since it’s Sunday a typical brunch day. My order came out missing shrimp. Food was really flavorful though. I would come back.
Chalet was a 10/10 experience. My party was a walk in of 3 and were accommodated quickly. We ordered the banana and pecan french toast, strawberry french toast, and the All american breakfast. Everything came warm and delicious. Definitely will be back when i’m in town! ;)) Thanks to the host Bria and our server Alyssa!
I dont know where to begin. I came in to get the table a friend of mine reserved and the ladies at the front desk couldn't find it. No biggie, I asked if we could be added to the waitlist. If nice nasty was a person, it definitely would be them. The girls told us it would be a 30 minute wait and they would text me when the table was ready. My friend then asked if we could wait upstairs and they told us it was a hazard so no. So we went next door and had drinks at Penelope to kill time. 45 mins pass. No text. We go back and they had the same nice nasty energy. My friend saw seats at the bar and that's where we sat. We waited at the bar for 20 mins. No greeting, no check in or anything. I get the mans attention and he asked if we could give him some time. He was nice and the only nice thing about our experience there. The food was mid. None of us finished our food. I didnt get a chance to take photos of my cousin's unfinished plate.. but my friend didnt finish hers. My plate was picked up quick as well. I just, hate this for this establishment because they are black owned. But I promise I'll never come back here.
I attended to go to the restaurant located next door from here. I was told that it would be almost a 2hr there. I came here unexpectedly and was told that I would have to wait 30-45min. I was in by 30. Day after valentines around noon and both places were packed with people waiting outside. We were seated at the (my daughter and I) and the vibe just kicked in. Drinks were decent and food was good but the music!!!! The music was hitting!!! Old school new school mix going on. Most definitely will be going back, hoping everything (except the wait) will be the same 😊
