the Albert
Chicago
En un coup d'œil
Avis
The Albert is a hotel bar so located within EMC2. The floor to ceiling bookshelf is great for photos and everything else about this place is just average. Admittedly visited in the afternoon but service was slow and there’s no obvious happy hour menu (the QR code links to the website which just has a blurb saying happy hour exists). While the host will tell you take to the fire stairs to basement to use the restroom, you can actually just use the elevator within the hotel. Emmy Spritz was nice but just average.
Unique restaurant and bar in Chicago Food was great. The dessert termisu had a fruit touch that was a little too tart for me Service was excellent. Bathroom downstairs is unique
We had a night cap at The Albert for our 35th wedding Anniversary. Thank you to Chris and all the staff for making our evening even more special. Between the surprise of an amazing piece of chocolate cake and a lovely card, you all went above and beyond. Thank you again for making our 35th memorable. We’ll definitely stop by again on our next trip to Chicago!!
Stopped by for a quick dinner - had the Ravioli and Brussels. Ravioli was rich and creamy. Flavor was a little flat, the balsamic on top was a good highlight but barely offset the richness of the cream sauce. Presentation could be better. Brussels were well cooked, had a nice flavor and paired well with the cream sauce to mute some of the heat. Atmosphere was nice for a late evening dinner. Would return to try something different
Their new Brunchissimo is delightful! A refreshing new concept with coastal Italian brunch. Loved the carts that come earlier with bruschetta and salads to choose from. The egg sandwich was out of this world as were the golden eggs. Had to get their pizza and that pistachio dessert. Cocktails are fab! Strawberry one was my fav. @chicagopescetarian
