This place is a 10/10. It’s the perfect spot for just about any time of day, whether you’re grabbing coffee, meeting friends for lunch, or having dinner. Everything we ordered was excellent. The fries were crispy and came with a lemon aioli that (surprisingly) paired with them perfectly. The food does take a bit longer to come out, but it’s clear they’re taking the time to make everything fresh because every dish we tried was worth the wait. Despite that, the service was attentive and efficient throughout our meal. The atmosphere is so cute. There’s seating for groups of all sizes, a cozy bar area, a separate coffee counter if you’re just stopping in for a drink, and a great patio. If you’re visiting, I’d highly recommend the fries, salmon bowl, poke bowl, and especially the Chicken Teddi. The Chicken Terri D was easily my favorite…so, so good.
I love the vibes here. The lighting, atmosphere, music, furniture. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a nicer meal. I came here for dinner and got the vodka pasta and it was great! Perfect portion for me. My friend got the salmon and the presentation was so elegant and the quality was amazing. We got the tall, dark, and handsome chocolate cake for dessert and it was rich and decadent in flavor. This place is perfect for a date. They also have a cute cafe at the front with amazing looking pasties and unique drink options. Although it was on the pricier side (around $100 for 2 people and a dessert) it’s a great place for celebrating an occasion. Edit: I’ve gone a few more times to different locations and have grown to call this place a favorite. I absolutely love their coffee. I have tried their tiramisu latte, banana iced coffee, and pistachio latte and they’re all great!
We made reservations at Beatrix before our event at United Center and super glad we did. The service was great and the food was simply amazing. While I absolutely loved my wild mushrooms teriyaki, the salmon I ordered as extra protein seemed like an afterthought. It was slightly overcooked and wasn’t seasoned. I know I am being super picky because literally every dish we ordered was phenomenal! Definitely try spicy tuna on a crispy rice and jalapeños cornbread ! Korean chicken and fish tacos were also fantastic! Potatoes they state that are grown to be specifically used for french fries good, but the shishito peppers and lemons that came with them were incredible. Will definitely return! Also, they were able to accommodate gluten free and dairy free sensitivity.
Absolutely loved this place. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, stylish, and inviting — a perfect spot for a relaxed breakfast. I tried the baked oatmeal with apples, and it was honestly something special. Simple, but incredibly delicious and comforting — the kind of dish that feels unique even though it’s classic. First time having it prepared this way, and I was impressed. The avocado toast with tuna was also excellent — fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. Everything we ordered was really, really good. You can tell they care about quality. On top of that, the service made the experience even better. Our server was genuinely kind and even helped charge my phone when I ran out of battery — small detail, but it meant a lot. Overall, a true 5-star experience. Definitely coming back.
A very nice experience — the Brussels sprouts were 10/10. I got the mushroom teriyaki bowl which was very good and loaded with veggies (some were a little crisper than I prefer but overall cooked well). Fries were good, nothing groundbreaking — did not try the burger. Mango gin and tonic was wonderful and the chocolate cake was delicious. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was great for a date or lunch/dinner with friends.
