I’ve ordered delivery a few times, but dining in makes a huge difference. The rice is fresh, and so are the meat and vegetables. After trying the combination plate, I discovered that the kefta kebab is my favorite. This place is proof that small, family-owned restaurants can be much better than national chains that rely on frozen or prepackaged ingredients. Worth the mile walk from home for sure 👍👍
Great food that last me a few days! It’s on the pricey side, but it’s a welcomed food experience. A little side note: please get rid of the AI photos! It’s not advertising “good quality” it’s giving off “cheap and lazy.” I promise if it were replaced with a real painting of the food or even a real picture of your food it would be 10x better, because it’ll show your place has humanity.
Came across this place after finding out that Lao Peng You had a 3 hour wait…! We ordered the house mix grill plate and the hummus plate with beef shawarma! I highly recommend their Beef & Lamb Kofta, extremely well seasoned and juicy inside. The beef shawarma could have been better, but I personally would not order that again. Hummus and rice was amazing though! We received our food within 10 minutes, so wait time was good. So glad we ate here instead of waiting 3 hours to be seated somewhere overrated.
First time I’ve experienced food that looked better than it did on the menu picture. Might be the best middle eastern style food I’ve had, left well fed and satisfied. Thank you!
great, refreshing, and satisfying meal! ordered the chicken shawarma and the gyro plate and we were served quickly. the man at the counter who took our order was very nice. only note would be that the chicken was a tad dry, but everything else was pretty perfect. the hummus was a 10/10! plenty of seating available, and the dining area was kept very clean. parked on Damon street nearby which was free.
