10/10 experience. It was easy to book and modify our large brunch reservation through their online reservation platform. If you’re looking for a black owned restaurant to try, I recommend coming here. They also called us the day before to confirm our reservation and ask if we had any questions. Street parking was available in front and on the side street right by the front entrance. Once we entered, we were immediately greeted by the hostess and seated while we waited for the remainder of our party. The ambiance and decor gave luxurious and welcoming. They even have a cute clear photo box you can go into to take pictures, similar to a magazine cover. The manager was a sweetheart. She was patient, attentive, and accommodating. We had two kids with us, and she let us order basic brunch items for our picky eaters (like eggs, bacon, and potatoes) instead of the fancy menu items that the kids might not have tried. She also let us customize our drinks; for example, I saw they offered lemon drops and asked if they could add watermelon to it since she said they offered a variety of lemonades when we were trying to choose what the kids should drink. All the menu items sounded incredible, so we tried as many items as our stomachs could reasonably taste. We tried starters, oysters, entrees, and desserts. All the items were hot, fresh, and seasoned to perfection. The different ingredients complemented each other well. The manager also brought my niece some cut up oranges because my niece kept mentioning oranges when she saw I had a lemon garnish on my lemon drop lol. It’s worth mentioning that I drove an hour from Indiana, and it was absolutely worth the drive. I can’t wait to come back for the dinner menu options. Thank you for the wonderful brunch experience! We love the original restaurant, and this experience exceeded our expectations as well.
Omg I was very pleased with the decor, the service and the food. Jocelyn was our server and gave great recommendations on drinks and food. She was very attentive. I will def be back.
My Wife recently took me here for Father’s Day. I must say from the moment we parked, I knew it would be a great experience. We were able to park right in front of the restaurant which helped with all the rain we endured. We were promptly placed at our table and accommodated by our server and owner Jason. I just settled for a cold Modelo Beer while my wife had a Margarita. It was definitely made with love and care which added some kick to it. For our appetizers we tried the shrimp and calamari along with the lobster bisque. The bisque was a bit on the saltier side but I could still taste the flavor where it was not overwhelming. Shrimp and calamari were good. Very hot and the sauce was great for an extra taste. For Entree, I decided to go with the fettuccine Alfredo with the 8 oz ribeye and Wife went with the cheese ravioli I believe. Very hot and satisfying for taste. I normally have a bigger steak but the 8 oz is perfect with the Alfredo. Steak was seasoned good but because it was thin cut The only thing I would say is order it medium. I normally don’t do medium well but that’s where I think I went wrong. And lastly for dessert, wife had the butter cake with ice cream and I had the chocolate cake with ice cream. I originally wanted the snickers cheese cake but because they are that good, they ran out. I’ll be back but overall I had a great eating experience and the place is very spacious. Take some time to grab a bite to eat there and enjoy some great music as well. Thanks again to the staff and owner Jason for a pleasant first time experience. I definitely recommend.
Wow! Traveled from NC and found this spot. This place is a vibe. I had the most incredible ribeye and Brussel Sprouts! The lobster mac was delicious and don’t even get me started on the dessert! The service was amazing and the cocktails were perfect. I will definitely come back again!
It was amazing. The staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The music was at a perfect level that left room for conversation. The decor is beautiful, clean and aesthetically pleasing. I loved everything about the experience, the staff is very inviting as well! Compliments to the chef/kitchen staff, they’re very talented.
