Always a great time at Oakville! Been here for happy hour, dinner, lunch and even a private event. Each time the food is great. I do wish they had a few more options for vegetarian during dinner (for variety), but otherwise, it's a great spot!
We had a really good time here, came here for happy hour ordered a bunch of drinks. Boom. The place is really cool open air lots of tables and enjoyed our visit! Place has some cool vibe music, the place is really busy. Seemed like secret service with all the ear buds on the managers. Pssst, drinks at table #25. Trump would be safe. So..Lots of everyone here. We did see the happy hour sign on the sidewalk and got excited like the first day of school! So, on the way in we planned the biggest happy hour drink fest in Oakville history, then we asked the server for happy hour drinks, that was only for Monday through Friday. Arrr..not a happy camper by the campfire…? Burnt smores. Broke the vibe..and it was Saturday. They promptly removed the happy hour sign and I checked, it was gone! We are good! Also, if you have to go to the bathroom, make sure you don’t wait till the last minute to wet your pants, you have to get in the elevator or run up the stairs to get up there! Overall, we would come back, great place and awesome atmosphere.
Everything I ordered was amazing except for the Gouda Grits…😔 they had absolutely no flavor, salt didn’t help. It would have been a 5 but when you say creamy Gouda Grits…we should taste the flavor. Other than that it’s a nice spot with great service and a great atmosphere. I’d recommend and I’d come back!
The wood fired brick chicken was juicy and amazing. And the potatoes were perfectly purred and the roasted garlic was perfect together. Our server was amazing. The grilled chicken paillard salad was delicious. The old fashioned drinks were solid. Great ambience and so beautiful.
Service was great. The tuna tartare was fantastic. As an appetizer I could have had that for my meal it was so delicious. The rest of our menu items were a hit or miss on our personal palettes. The best brunch item was the French toast with apples.
