This was good and better Italian food compared to an average Italian spot. However, compared to an average Chicago spot, it wasn’t as good (e.g., Coda Di Volpe, Denucci’s, etc.) Food: good but not earth shattering. I believe the sausage in my rigatoni was precooked. Pasta - I don’t believe it was homemade. Atmosphere: it was freezing in the basement. I would bring a sweater. However, it did have old mobster vibes which was cool. Service: Waiter was really nice.
We hosted my bridal shower here, and from start to finish, the experience was absolutely wonderful. Diana was incredible to work with throughout the entire planning process. She was always responsive, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was exactly as I envisioned. About a week before the shower, I realized the room we had originally reserved wasn't quite what I had pictured. I reached out to Diana feeling a little panicked, and she immediately worked with me to find a better solution. Her kindness, flexibility, and willingness to help completely put me at ease, and I cannot thank her enough for going above and beyond to make my day feel so special. The event itself exceeded all of our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious (our guests are still talking about it!), the service was exceptional, and the wait staff was attentive, friendly, and so accommodating throughout the afternoon. Everything ran seamlessly, allowing me to simply enjoy celebrating with my family and friends. I'm so grateful to Diana and the entire Orso's team for helping create such a memorable bridal shower. I would wholeheartedly recommend Orso's to anyone looking to host a special event in Chicago, and I would absolutely host another event here in the future. Thank you again for making such a special day even more memorable!

Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and attentive, making us feel genuinely valued as guests. The food was absolutely amazing, and every dish exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is beautiful and intimate, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable meal. A special compliment goes to the bar manager, who went above and beyond to make our night even more enjoyable. Between the exceptional food, outstanding service, and inviting ambiance, Orso's is a place I would highly recommend and can't wait to visit again.

Beautiful restaurant, generous portions for the price. Super satisfied. The waiter was very curt but service was appropriate. The gnocchi looks hand-made which is great.
