My boyfriend surprised me with a date night for dinner on the Odyssey cruise and it was the most memorable experience we’ve had in Chicago. The food was wonderful, we each chose our own starter, entree, and dessert, and also ordered a bottle of wine to share. We were truly impressed by the service, it was without a doubt the best service we have ever received. The staff was amazing, kind, attentive, and we especially loved Heather! She took great care of us and she even came outside to let us know when our food or dessert was coming if we were on the outside deck, which was really sweet. Absolutely would recommend!!!!
Went on the odyssey river cruise for my birthday and had an AMAZING time. Our server Ashley (curly hair) was sooooo good and accomodating, the service was really top tier! Food was good, get the sea bass. & you know the views were spectacular! Def plan on doing it again.
We decided to venture out and take this 2 hr architectural river tour and wow it was amazing all around. Brunch with Unlimited mimosas! The food was Amazing!! I was very surprised. The tour guy was very knowledgeable! Our waiter Edgar was the sweetest! Oh and the bartender made the most amazing Espresso Martini!
Our experience with the Odyssey was fantastic from beginning to end! We took the 6:00 PM cruise, which provided a wonderful night view of the Chicago skyline, it’s truly the best way to see the city. A few highlights from our trip: Service: The staff was incredible. The person at the ticket counter was amazing, very friendly, and efficient, which made the boarding process really smooth. Dining: Our waiter was excellent and stayed very attentive, making sure our drinks were always full. The menu had great options, and everything we ate was delicious. Atmosphere: The DJ played a great selection of relaxing music that set a perfect tone for the evening. The Ship: Since the Odyssey is glass-enclosed but climate-controlled with AC and heat, it was easy to stay warm while enjoying the unobstructed views. It was a great night out and a seamless experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy Chicago from a different perspective!
We got a chance to enjoy a nice cruise on the Chicago River on the Odyssey this past week. We have done a few city cruises in the past and in other cities. This experience was probably the one with the nicest views. Firstly, a huge shout out to the service staff, they were definitely on their game and were excellent for the entire duration. The food was great, did the chowder for an appetizer and the beef short rib for the main. Very nice presentation, well cooked and tasted delicious. The only negative thing to be aware of is the noise level. The music was very loud and made it hard to carry on a conversation. The star of the show was hands down the magnificent views of the city. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening for it. Overall, great experience, if you ever get an opportunity to do it, don’t hesitate.
