The branzino was amazing! I’m still thinking about it. Also their board with the spreads was delicious. Dessert was also perfect and unique. Service was solid especially the bussers. They gave us some suggestions. Drinks were the only aspect of the meal that were just okay. Overall food was great. I would definitely return. I hardly ever give 5s but think they deserve it.
This was truly one of the best meals and dinner experiences I’ve had in chi. Oh my god. Literally everything was incredible and our server was awesome!! My fam (6 of us total) and I went for my 21st and it was the best experience!!! Drinks: -pistachio espresso martini 9/10 gas -Medusa mule they loved it 10/10 Apps: -The Breads and Spreads 9/10, loved 3/4 dips -Saganaki 10/10 LOVEDDD -charred octopus 8/10 -crispy calamari 9/10 Dinner(s): - full lamp chops and side bouzoukia pots 10/10 literally not one complaint abt this, split w my aunt FIRE OMG - lamb gyros they loved it 9/10 - lobster linguini “The best I’ve ever had” 10/10 -grilled lamb 10/10 Desserts: Okay so we got all of them😭😭 each one was great. My fav were the chocolate cake and donuts!! LOVED THIS PLACE WOO
Lovely restaurant! Great for sharing plates, and the portions were a good size. The half chicken and meatballs were highlights, but everything we had tasted great. Atmosphere in the restaurant is lively and very busy, definitely one that needs booking. Staff were friendly and attentive, probably just an American thing, but they came over to the table quite a lot. At times we would’ve preferred a bit more space to just eat and enjoy, but it didn’t take away from the experience
I loved the concept, with one side being a restaurant and the other a bar. The food is highly recommended. I tried the tequila cocktail with jalapeño pepper, and it was one of the best I've ever had. My experience there was on a Thursday night, so the music was a bit loud, which made conversation difficult. However, if you're looking for entertainment, the atmosphere is great with the music. The service definitely needs improvement. We were assigned a table, but it took a while to be served. Our waiter wasn't very attentive; we had to ask to be served by another waiter.
Lyra was truly a beautiful, beautiful surprise. We didn’t even have a reservation and ended up sitting at the bar — and honestly, it turned into one of the best dining experiences. From the very first moment, the service was exceptional — professional, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. The tuna tartare — one of the best I’ve had The octopus — perfectly cooked, with that authentic Greek flavor, rich in oregano and spice The oysters — fresh and beautifully presented Every dish had that clean, elevated Mediterranean taste that’s hard to find. The drinks were also excellent, perfectly balanced and beautifully presented — everything felt thoughtful and high quality. The atmosphere is stylish, vibrant, and inviting — the kind of place where you can enjoy both a relaxed evening or a special night out.
