Saw an amazing IG post about this spot & had to give them a try. It was correct - delicious!!! No it's, and, or buts. First, be sure to make reservations otherwise your wait could be o er 2hrs. Service started off great, but once the food was served, our server disappeared. Aside from that, everything was fabulous. Shrimp & salmon bites 🔥 Chicken & waffles 👍🏾 Jerk chops 😋 Mac, greens, grits 🤗 Mojito flight ❤️ Atmosphere was fabulous, but the tables are tight & tiny. All in all, I'm sure to return. Soon.
This place has a chill and welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your time. The employees were friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The overall vibe was comfortable, inviting, and perfect for a casual meal or a night out. The food was delicious and came in generous portions, offering great value for the price. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. The cocktails were also excellent and clearly made with care, balancing flavor and presentation perfectly. Between the tasty food, great drinks, and warm service, this is definitely a spot worth visiting again.
The L Station is an absolute standout! From the moment we sat down, everything exceeded expectations. The food was perfectly seasoned, and the portions were generous without sacrificing quality. Malik set the tone for the night with his cocktail recommendations, which were spot on. He also suggested the shrimp and salmon bites—and wow, they were next level. Coated in a hot honey sauce that brought the perfect balance of sweet heat… pure fire! For my entrée, I went with “The 2 Unsure,” and it did not disappoint. It came with crispy fried chicken and waffles, paired with sides of greens and yams—each bite was flavorful and comforting. Everything on the plate worked together beautifully. Huge compliments to Chef Darius, who is clearly working magic in the kitchen. The creativity, flavor, and execution were all on point. I’ll definitely be back for more!
If you’re ever in Chicago this is a MUST the atmosphere is clean and the vibe is like no other. My family ordered the salmon filet, salmon bites, yams, Mac and cheese, the turkey sandwich and the burger. All of gave it a 10/10, the food was delicious and flavorful and the portion sizes were big, truly a bang for your buck. Our waiter Malik was phenomenal he has amazing customer service, knowledgeable of the menu and overall such a pleasure to have as a waiter. The bartender Bobby also was amazing the drinks were delicious and his energy was amazing. If you come l guarantee you won’t regret it, and see if you can get Malik and Bobby you will not be disappointed. Will be back again ☺️
Walked in and the host was nice! Malik was absolutely AMAZING! He made sure he suggested entree's and drinks. He made sure our first visit was everything, AND IT WAS. His entire section was full and he still made sure he was attentive. I was not disappointed with the food or drinks. 10/10! Money well spent. Atmosphere was cool, great vibes and music. A little snug. But I had an over all excellent experience!
