Walked in to have dinner for 5, seated immediately in one of many busy dining rooms. Menus either paper or tablet, waitstaff will review choices to clarify and keep you from over ordering;). Shared several appetizers and meat and veg, rice main dishes. Classic chicken dishes as expected, one of the red meat selections was too fatty and hard to chew. Waiter was excellent, frequently checked on table, food came out after a reasonable wait. Dining rooms feel a bit worn, a few taped buffet seats. Multilevel dining areas, stairs did not notice an elevator.

For the full review of this, and other, restaurants, find me on IG at: theturtlegourmand Overall, the restaurant has decent enough dim sum. So far, the best I've had in this region of the U.S. If you have a craving for dim sum, then this satisfies. But, understandably, it doesn't compare with the best dim sum restaurants in Hong Kong or Canada -- with the exception of one item, which is actually very good! Har Gow Decently tasty, and very meaty! Siu Mai Quite average. Not bad, but nothing special BBQ Pork Cheung Fun Pork is skimpy, and kind of on the dry side, but sufficiently average Shrimp Cheung Fun Like the har Gow, quite meaty. Also the noodle itself was quite nice and tasty, and not overbearing or heavy Ham Sui Gok (Deep Fried Pork dumpling) Large, crispy, without being overly heavy. Very flavor filled inside. Flat out good, and indeed one of the better ones I've had anywhere. Very much worth returning to the restaurant for! Wu Gok (Taro puff) Lots of taro, not enough meat filling. But decent tasting Jian Dui (Jumbo Sesame ball) Nicely done, crispy, savory, and juicy. No filling but pure flavor. Egg tart Borderline here. Decent enough to eat again, but nothing to write home about. For the full review, with more photos and video, find me on IG at: theturtlegourmand

We walked in and were greeted immediately. There was an empty dining area to the right, but we were sat behind the hostess station as you enter the restaurant. You get the three paper menus and an iPad. You use the pencil at the table to mark the selections on the paper menus for food, and order drinks and main dishes on the iPad. The mojito was my husband’s and he said it was twice the size as a normal one and very good.. he had the duck wings and vegetable fried rice. It was sticky and cooked in a broth. Very delicious. The duck wings were very delicious as well. They are not hot at all. I had the bao, both of which were very good. The BBQ was a little sweet and very fluffy the scallion cakes were amazing. Best I’ve ever had. A cozy place with very fast service and great portions sizes. Everything has a picture and great description so you don’t get anything confused. It wasn’t too loud, it was very clean, and was a great atmosphere for kids and groups.

I always enjoy dining at MingHin, especially because I’m a big fan of Asian cuisine. I’ve visited several of their locations, including Arlington Heights and Naperville, and I was excited to try this one as well. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. The food is consistently delicious no matter which location you visit, and that’s one of the things I appreciate most about MingHin. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the service is excellent, and every dish is prepared with the same high quality. I had a fantastic meal and will definitely be coming back again!

I feel like the first hint was that all the other restaurants had lineups to go in and walking into the establishment we were able to get a table, no problem. Especially in Chinatown in Chicago for there not to be a lot of people in this restaurant kind of concerning, but we didn’t wanna wait in line and Google said that the reviews are really good for this place. Mind you we did get dim sum so who knows if the regular dinner dishes would be better. We ordered the staples as attached in the photos. Everything was warm, but not hot. Lacked a lot of flavor. The hottest dish that came out where the shrimp spring rolls. Can’t go wrong with those to be honest. Again, like I said, maybe their dinner is better. If I had to compare price wise, I feel like it’s comparable to Toronto prices.
