Was very excited to try based on history of the business and the menu has a lot of delicious sounding items I was excited to try. Went with a group of six. Service was pretty bad. We had made a reservation since we weren’t sure how busy they would be. Mentioned reservation to bar tender, who acknowledged it and then walked away. We waited for a little bit thinking he would come back and seat us, but that did not happen so we sat ourselves. We had to ask for everything, menus, plates, napkins, silverware, water, salt & pepper. Appetizer plates were not cleared, dinner plates were not cleared. There were three male servers working and they all seemed to be sharing duties between serving and bar tending and it was not very busy. We asked for the bill and asked if we could split between cash and a couple different cards. They said that was fine but when he came back he said if we are splitting forms of payment “everything is online and they don’t print it out.” So he told us the total and divided it in six. This seemed very odd and after he walked away we all agreed that we wanted to see a bill just to make sure all charges were correct- as is customary in any restaurant. To be clear we did NOT want six separate bills. One of us asked for one copy of the bill to be printed out and they did so. One of the servers when taking our order was very rude and unfriendly, practically rolling his eyes at a few very simple questions. Not sure if I would recommend.
Really nice place. I got the chicken sandwich it was amazing. The service was amazing. Happy hour was great. Very nice local bar. Drop in you will be happy.
