Tried the weekend brunch. The pani puri exceed my expectations. Although they had wide variety of vegan options, they were not all labelled but the staff was able to confirm for me. I wish the buffet had vegan labels clearly but that’s about my only complaint. The restaurant also swapped out the butter naan for tandoori roti for us which was such a nice gesture.
Indian Garden has a really nice atmosphere and the service was great. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We tried a variety of dishes, including the papad with chutney, dahi bhalla, cashew nut rolls, baingan bharta, kadai paneer, chana masala, veg biryani, and kheer. My favorite was definitely the baingan bharta, it was flavorful and the standout dish for me. The kadai paneer wasn’t my favorite, but everyone has different tastes. Overall, while the food wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for, I appreciated the excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. I’d recommend giving it a try and finding your own favorites.
What a great restaurant! We had a wonderful time. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The manager was really nice and had a great sense of humor. They recommended a few dishes for me. We had an amazing experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely be coming back.
My friend hosted a birthday celebration for his one-year-old here, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance of the restaurant was top-notch—perfect for a cozy yet special gathering. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating, going above and beyond to fulfill all our requests and make the event smooth and enjoyable. A special shoutout to Mr. Kamlesh Mishra for his professionalism and warm, respectful attitude—he really made a difference in our experience. The live dosa counter was a fantastic highlight, something you don’t usually find in Indian buffets in downtown Chicago. Overall, great food, outstanding service, and a memorable experience. Highly recommend!
