We celebrated a birthday at Elia Chicago, and it was a fantastic evening! I actually stumbled upon Elia a couple of months ago while meeting a friend for a light meal at the bar, and I knew I wanted to come back with a larger group. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the outdoor patio is perfect on a warm summer evening. We had a table by the open windows overlooking the patio, which made for great people-watching while we dined. The food was outstanding. We shared the Chef’s Selection Mezze (everyone devoured it before I could even take a photo!), Truffle Cheese Saganaki, Grilled Baby Carrots, and the incredible Kefalograviera Pide with Black Truffle—I’m still craving that flatbread! For our main course, we enjoyed the Mixed Grill Platter for Two, grilled seabass, Greek salads, and finished with baklava and Turkish coffee. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The bartender, our waiter, and the entire staff were phenomenal and made the celebration feel special. My only small critique is that all of our courses arrived at once. Kudos to the kitchen for the speedy preparation, but it would have been even better if the appetizers, salads, and entrées had been paced out so we could savor each course. One tip: parking can be challenging. There is some street parking if you arrive early, but I’d recommend taking an Uber if possible. Overall, Elia delivered an exceptional dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

Our last night in Chicago and we found this place. It was a Monday and they have an all you can eat option and we thought it would be a great way to try a few different things. We'll, we got to try them all as it is more of a big portion tasting feast. Man it was good, the wood fired breads, to dip in 5 different dips including hummus, Tzatziki and babaganoush and two others that were awesome. Then the meat platter arrives and did not disappoint. Great meal, give it a try.

We went for the Monday and Thursday All-You-Can-Eat menu for $35 and it was well worth it. The decor is absolutely and the place is clean as a whistle. The trays of food just seemed to keep coming and the portions were generous. The salmon was light and flaky but could use a touch more marinade or seasoning, but the lamb and chicken were spot on. The hummus platter had a lovely variety, my favorite was probably the htipiti as I love feta. My friend referred the sweetness of the muhammara. The cheesy bread made me absolutely fall in love. Don't forget to ask for the hot tea, it complements the meal and digestion well. I do wish they simply would have brought a pot of it. The star for me was the baklava roll as it tasted more toasted than every other one I've ever had and therefore wasn't overly sweet. We ordered a few more of those! I do wish the saganaki would have been fired in front of us, but otherwise the entire presentation was gorgeous. I will be back.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Elia in Wicker Park. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, stylish, and inviting—perfect for both a date night or a special dinner with friends. The food was outstanding. We ordered the grilled octopus, the ceviche octopus and other dishes that were fresh, beautifully presented, and full of bold Mediterranean flavors. The cocktails were also fantastic! You can tell the kitchen takes pride in quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Service was equally impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. Overall, Elia delivers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Mediterranean restaurant in Chicago—I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Outstanding food and top-notch service. The hostess was welcoming and thoughtful enough to take a photo of my wife and me for our 20th wedding anniversary. We ordered a few mezzes, and it was plenty for both of us. The decor and lighting were sharp and well executed. The red highlights reflecting off the polished surfaces gave the room a strong, upscale character.
