⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding experience from start to finish! We ordered the ramen, yakisoba, and the garlic chili edamame, and every dish was excellent. The ramen had a rich, flavorful broth, the yakisoba was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, and the garlic chili edamame was easily one of the best we’ve had—packed with bold flavor and the perfect amount of heat. What really made the evening special was our server, Leo. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. He checked on us throughout the meal, made great recommendations, and genuinely made us feel like valued guests. His friendly personality elevated an already fantastic dining experience. If you’re looking for great food and even better service, Birdman Ramen is absolutely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Leo again!
Leo give a great service, also he recommend the food to try due to being our first time and it was a great choice. The the pork and shrimp Gyoza were delicious with the cream Sauce.. mmmm mmmm. The lemonade made by Leo fresh was delicious I would come back to get another. Very refreshing taste. My Daughter like the ramen Leo recommend it was not spicy and she love it.
What an amazing and unique restaurant! The menu has a comic story and an instagram to follow along with the theme/story. I got the fried chicken ramen. There was so many pieces of fried chicken!! It was great, usually places have 3-4 so this was nice. Everything was flavorful and great. The Shrimp wontons were in a dumpling like filling so that was a nice new appetizer to try, definitely recommend trying it for something new!
This just became my new fave ramen spot in Chicago, and it will become yours too. They specialize in bird-based ramens (chicken, turkey, duck), which I love because I don’t eat a lot of pork. We tried an assortment of dishes: for apps the chili garlic edamame, shrimp wontons, a chicken karagge, for mains, spicy garlic Hokkaido miso ramen, Szechuan Tori paitan ramen, the spicy chicken yakisoba, and for dessert the mango mousse and mango ice cream. Everything was delicious - each dish had the perfect amount of spice, flavor, and sweetness. I’m also obsessed with the manga themed menu, decor, and artwork that fill the entire restaurant. So glad to have found this spot, and can’t wait to come back - especially in the winter during the cold Chicago months!
Leo was excellent! It was our first time here and experience was heavenly. Everyone is inviting, calm and kind. Leo has such a wonderful aura! The food is top notch. Leo recommended the garlic bok choy which was delicious. Add some red chili oil and its extra tasty! My love had vegan ramen and I had the gold ramen with spicy chicken broth. Being able to accommodate a vegan and a shellfish allergy and non dairy and pork eater with such graciousness is rare and this is the place! The fries were the best as well. Try the white peach tea. My love had the delicious hot green tea. We will be back.
