I went here for afternoon cocktails but it was hard to find the entrance using the stairs. Took awhile but we finally got there. I ordered two drinks, the sunset in the lake and the tropic affair. Both were very refreshing. I also had the truffle fries which took awhile to get but tasted fresh and were hot.
I went for the views and convenience (navy pier) but wow the sushi was amazing. I was not expecting to have such good sushi sushi (this is the top 2 best sushi roll ive ever had). The roll will have me go back. Service was also good and the views are nice.
…if you only came for the Best Chicago Views alone, you’d get more than you’d ever expect. At the tip of Navy Pier, you have almost a 360 view with a selection of indoor or outdoor seating, yet with the folding glass doors and glass ceiling, inside is outside! The food is casual, delicious and by this diner’s experience an economical. The Brussels sprouts are yummy and happy I saved room for dessert! Even have a vegan selection! From the Hosts, Waitstaff, Bartenders and BusBoys, they assure your dining experience is one you’ll want to have again and again.
Fantastic breakfast experience with truly unbeatable views. The setting creates a relaxing morning vibe, especially with lakefront scenery that is hard to match anywhere else in the city. The coffee was fresh, the pastries were delicious, and everything felt well prepared and satisfying. It is the kind of place where you can sit back, slow down, and really enjoy the start of your day. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even better without ever feeling rushed. Overall, it is a perfect spot for a peaceful, scenic, and very enjoyable breakfast in Chicago.
It's in a lovely location, with water views on either side of the indoor rectangular dining hall. They don't serve the outdoor area during the off season, which ends at the end of April. Plastic is used, totally understand. But my wine glass is really old, with two streaks running in different places, one of which looks dirty. So I went in and asked, “Can I at least get a newer glass?” I didn't mean the soda-qline glass, but she quickly poured my wine into a real glass, which is a Rona. Oh well, my Chinglish at work again.
