Perfect spot for lunch with a view. Our server, Becky Garcia, was superb! She was attentive and gave us all the information we needed. She was so sweet to my 10 year old daughter and made her feel very grown up. We both had the Croque Monsiuer and it was delicious. We should have shared as it was HUGE!

Visited La Grande Boucherie for Chicago French Restaurant Week brunch and had a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant has a beautiful Parisian-inspired atmosphere, with a lovely outdoor patio and large open windows that create an airy, elegant feel indoors. We chose to sit inside by the open windows, which gave us the best of both worlds. The standout dish was definitely the Soupe à l’Oignon (French onion soup)—it was top-notch, with a rich, flavorful broth and perfectly melted cheese. The pâté was a bit too liver-forward for our taste, although those who enjoy a more traditional pâté may appreciate it. For the mains, we had the French toast and the Tartine de Saumon Fumé. Both were well prepared and enjoyable. While neither dish was particularly outstanding or unforgettable, they were solid choices and offered good value as part of the $30 two-course Chicago French Restaurant Week prix fixe menu. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy French cuisine in a beautiful setting, especially during Restaurant Week when the prix fixe menu offers excellent value. We’d happily return, particularly for another bowl of the French onion soup.

This was our first visit - Saturday brunch - and it was memorable. The first impression upon entering the space is amazing. What an incredibly beautiful building and interior. The windows to the sidewalk were open to the outdoor seating. It felt so European. We sat at the bar and had $25 bottomless mimosas, which were perfect (we got to dose our own juice) and a great value. Food was outstanding. We started with a ham and gruyere baguette that included a satisfying soft but slightly chewy bread. It was very good. We added the au poivre sauce for dipping, usually intended for steaks. Wow. Next up, we split single portion of boeuf bourguignon (generous portion) paired with the complementary bread and butter. Again, the bread had the perfect texture. The butter was whipped, salty heaven. Jorge and Lanores were welcoming, informative and helpful with our menu choices. We will definitely be back, as there is so much more on the menu we’re eager to try.

Had dinner at La Grande Boucherie in Chicago. Our server, Bane, was friendly, attentive, and provided good service throughout the meal. The food was generally good and enjoyable. The standout dish was the Branzino, which was excellent and the best item we ordered. The steak was not my favorite and didn't quite meet my expectations, though it was still acceptable and I finished it. Overall, the rest of the dishes were good and the dining experience was pleasant. The dessert was so delicious and yummy 😋

We went to La Grande Boucherie Chicago for a birthday dinner, and while the host at the front seemed a bit annoyed when we arrived, which wasn’t the warmest first impression—the rest of the evening made up for it. Once seated, the space felt both cozy and refined, setting the tone for a lovely dinner. We started with fresh bread for the table, followed by cocktails and a chilled bottle of rosé. We skipped appetizers and went straight to our entrées, each one delicious and beautifully presented. Our waiter, Andres, was exceptional, attentive, and impressively remembered everyone’s order without writing a thing down. By the end, he surprised the birthday girls with dessert, which was a thoughtful touch. Even took the time to take pictures of our group. A special thank you to our waiter Andres, for his attentiveness as well as providing a beautiful and welcoming experience. The service he provided and food turned the night into a genuinely wonderful experience.
