Chicago Oyster House is hands down one of those places you leave already thinking about when you’re coming back. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked with real care. Every bite tasted like quality, especially the oysters and seafood. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. And Becky’s service made the whole experience even better. She was warm, attentive, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from start to finish. She knew the menu, checked in at the right times, and added that personal touch that makes a good restaurant feel unforgettable. If you’re in Chicago and haven’t been to Chicago Oyster House yet, you’re missing out. Go taste the food, ask for Becky, and thank me later.
The restaurant was very nice inside. The service was slow but it was a busy night. I thought food was worth the wait. My husband got the bone in ribeye cooked perfectly. I got the clam chowder and sea scallops. The chowder was ok standard. The sea scallops were good. We got the Alaskan oysters - the red wine vinegar was mild in flavor. I liked the cocktail sauce and horseradish. Our friends got the Big Tuna and the Salmon with mint and basil. It was pricey but very delicious and good service.
The food and customer service were immaculate. Not one complaint! We had raw oysters, the combo of grilled oysters were delectable last but not least the spicy margarita made my our waitress Natalie was 5 stars. I will be back.
What a delightful dining experience! We were visiting from Dallas and came across this unique restaurant. Wonderful Blue point oyster, crab cake and yellow fin sushi. The sea bass entree was delicious! Service was 5 stars, we would definitely come back!
My husband and I have been coming here for almost a decade. We love this restaurant. The seafood is always fresh and amazing. The atmosphere is incredibly chill and romantic. The staff is so friendly. Highly recommend this as a South Loop go to for sushi and surf and turf!
