Honestly SO pleasantly surprised at how amazing this place was!!! Service was lovely, the meat was delicious, so many options at the AYCE buffet, and free milk tea & ice cream?! Not to mention the broth was great too. They also have a student discount which was so clutch. Such a great hotpot place, and I'm so happy they're open late too!!! I'll definitely be back. Thank you!
Cant believe I havent written a review for this place. Been there multiple times, even weekly at one point until the $$ got to me lol. They are better than happy lamb! Love their tomato broth and angus beef. Variety of veggie is similar to the other hot pot places. Their side dish of young chow fried rice used to contain shrimp, then they changed to spam and now none. Wish they would at least stick with spam since it goes really well with the rice. For drinks they have milk tea, strawberry tea, passionfruit tea and the usual pepsi and other pop. Service is usually good with attentive staff constantly checking if you want more meat, or to top up the broth. Price is reasonable and they do offer a free meal on the day of your bday (minimum 2 to dine including yourself) unlike happy lamb who changed that offer to minimum of 4 to dine.
There's no doubt that this has become my favorite place to eat hotpot. There's something about the ritual of slow cooking that transforms a dinner into a special occasion, and this establishment elevates it to another level. On this occasion, my friend and I decided to go for a delicious dinner. What always captivates me is the quality of their fresh ingredients; from the marbled cuts of meat to the vibrant selection of vegetables, everything arrives at the table with impeccable presentation. Highlights: Excellent service: We were attended to by efficient waitresses who, discreetly and quickly, ensured that we never ran out of broth or ingredients at our table. Consistency: This is my second visit this year, and the consistency in flavor remains excellent. If you're looking for the best hotpot experience in Chicago, this place is simply a sure bet for quality and great service.
A decent hot pot experience overall with solid meat quality and a good selection of veggies and seafood. The self-serve veggie and meat station was convenient, though some items like beverages and appetizers were often left empty without timely refills. The meat cuts and produce were solid, and the staff clearly tried their best to make sure everyone was taken care of. Not somewhere I’d likely return to but it was fun to try once.
I come here almost every other week to eat here, I love the broths and add ons I can get included with my package. I mostly go for the lamb options with a mushroom or tomato broth. They have a sweet ice soup avalible as well that tastes amazing!!! I would reccomend this spot 100% for anyone looking for a hot pot spot. the picture below are of the hot pot and of the sweet ice soup.
