This was a great choice! Do not do as I did and allow your eyes to make the decisions for you because it is how my bill became so high 😂. I ordered the lobster tacos, bao buns, blueberry lemon pancakes, egg frittata, Korean wings, and turkey sausage. 🥞🍳🍗🌮 The food was satisfying, hot, and delicious. You will definitely be full when you leave here depending on what you order. Gisselle was my waitress and she was phenomenal. Everything is fresh and you can tell it is made at the restaurant instead of being frozen and rewarmed with seasoning on it.😋 If I had stayed there any longer I would have had to use the couches to take a quick nap before I made it back to my hotel. 🛋️💤😪😴🥱 The views are spectacular and it adds to the ambience of the restaurants with the overall aesthetics of everything. I will highly suggest checking this place out.🤗
The atmosphere here is really amazing! I’d love to come sometime when it’s warm enough for them to open up all the ceiling and walls/windows. The food was pretty good, I wouldn’t say it was extraordinary. The service was pretty good too. We were here on a Thursday night during May for our anniversary dinner and there was a DJ playing. The music was extremely loud.
You can't hear your waiter or anything. It advertises as a restaurant but thats not the experience it's obviously a night club with restaurant food as 2nd experience Atmosphere is a 2/3 for restaurant experience and that's being nice If you sit anywhere but quiet table it's almost impossible to hear the person your with I think it's a cool spot and nice views. Its not a top spot in Chicago. We were disappointed when arriving for a dinner experience. Food was just fine, looks impressive when you walk in and see kitchen but thats it Minimum spending is stupid, if your place is good I'll spend way more than $75 a person. I had a hard time trying to justify that with meh food and non existent waiting experience dont even think I got waiters name Ordered a 2nd drink and she just dropped it off behind me without even saying anything or acknowledging me. My girlfriend was extremely disappointed for a birthday date 9pm reservation
After a mediocre experience at another hyper local (to be unnamed) rooftop bar nearby this one, this one took the cake. With an onsite DJ and views of the entire city from the 28th floor, this place is really cool! The bartenders are all very kind. The drinks might be a bit pricy, but with the views, great service, and DJ included it’s not hard to see why the price of drinks is a bit steep. I would recommend a great night out here!
We tried to look up pictures of someone else’s order of the bao buns before we tried them, to no avail! So we took a chance on them and they were AMAZING! They’re packed with flavor (the shrimp and beef ones are non spicy, the chicken one is the only one with a bit of a kick) Highly recommend ROOF for a snack and the view and vibes!
