Really good food. The waitress was very kind and helpful, even though she was extremely busy working tirelessly late into the day. I reccomend the Mangolian beef, and fried rice! It was very flavorful!
Came here by mistake but we don't regret it. We ordered the crab Rangoon which had the perfect cream cheese to crab ratio. We also ordered the beef lo mein, soup dumplings and mongolian beef. The portions were good and the food was fresh. Service was slow. Restaurant was half empty so there was no reason for the slow service
Atmosphere™ by Apple Visited: Yesterday at 12:47 PM (interrupted every 12 seconds) Came here looking for a nice, peaceful atmosphere. What I got instead was a front-row seat to what I can only describe as an auditory assault weapon disguised as a smartphone notification. The establishment features a state-of-the-art sound system: one (1) Apple ringtone set to “maximum ear damage” (120dB, for those keeping score at home). The ring fires approximately 5 times per minute, which really keeps you on your toes. My toes have never been more on edge. Pro tip: The ringtone is LOUD. Like, “Why is there a fire alarm in someone’s pocket?” loud. Like, “I’m convinced this is a cry for help” loud. The ambiance was ruined, my will to live was tested, and I’m pretty sure I now have permanent hearing damage. Would not recommend unless you’re actively training for a job that requires becoming deaf. The management seems unaware of the volume setting on their device. A gentle reminder that the mute switch exists might help. Will I return? Only if I want to file a noise complaint with the Geneva Convention.
ITS A FAMILY STYLE RESTAURANT!!!! We should've known this when we saw the prices for each dish, but alas we had so much food leftover! This place is absolutely delicious ONLY IF you love sezchuan flavor!!!!! Everything is oily, unfortunately, but some people enjoy that! A lot of good options and variety for pescatarian people!! I will say, it was not worth it to order a plate of bok choy for $15, that was the only sad portion. But everything else is enough for a family (there were 4 of us)!!! I will say, the side of rice for $1 is the best part hahaha
We had a wonderful experience. Unsure who our server was in the end but we enjoyed the service suggestion for the pork belly preserved vegetable, as well as the sautéed three delight. I was concerned when i saw the receipt that we were charged for more spring rolls/egg rolls that we never received… but it was a holiday. I couldn’t complain even when I noticed it that’s why I took one star off like five star meal. And the fact that the Tony’s chicken was noted as extra spicy on the receipt, but it wasn’t at all as my husband mentioned to us but it’s not the type of person to mention it to a server… The inconsistent spicy levels is the thing We’ve encountered each time we ordered this dish. But the manager, a.k.a. may be the host, Was able to provide my aunt with fortune cookies to take home and save us a trip walking around Chinatown looking for fortune cookies for her to bring back to Dekalb with her
