Golden Bull Restaurant
Chicago
Recenzje
Very good authentic Chinese food. Delicious clams and chicken. Very impressed by the quality. It’s served fast. Rice bowls are small. Great staff and very authentic food.
Dined here early (4-4:30) Saturday no wait. The appetizers and dishes were excellent. The server failed to time the orders so we got our main dish one minute after our soup/appetizer. Which one to eat cold? Unacceptable. Suggest taking control of ordering and wait until appetizers are delivered before ordering. Also plan on “as ready” dish delivery and not all at once. The QR code is defunct so I posted the enormous menu. Enjoy a great Chinese meal.
Golden Bull exceeded my expectations. The service was outstanding and our server gave genuinely great recommendations. I ordered the soft shell crab with black pepper and it did not disappoint. The flavors were exceptional, delicate and layered in a way that reminded me why authentic Cantonese cooking is so special. As someone visiting from Mexico where authentic Cantonese food is nearly impossible to find, this meal felt like a real discovery. The food is quality and nothing felt greasy despite being fried, though next time I would add a vegetable or greens dish to round out the meal. This is the kind of place where you trust the staff and let them guide you, and it pays off. If you are visiting Chicago and want an authentic experience you simply cannot replicate back home, Golden Bull is the place.
It was packed and busy. A very fast pace environment. We were seated right away upon entry. Great communication and service. The food is fantastic. We will be coming back for more seafood.
Had a wonderful meal at this busy restaurant. We were lucky to land a table after a short wait for dinner. The portions were good and quality and amount of ingredients in each dish is plentiful. Everything tasted great. Service was brisk and friendly. Food served up fast. Ricr and tea included in the meal. Bathroom was clean and nice too! In terms of food, the fish maw seafood soup was filled with ingredients and had an authentic taste. The black pepper beef tenderloin was tender and juicy. The Clay pot seafood with tofu was also delicious. It had squid, dried squid, shrimp, and mushrooms. Fried octopus was tender and cooked perfectly. All in all, we had an enjoyable meal here.
