AMAZING ! First time visiting Chicago and went here my last night and Im so glad I did. The hosts were great, getting us in early evening without a reservation. The vibe was super chill, dim lighting, modern aesthetic and nice music. The spinach and artichoke dip was warm, creamy and came with two other dipping sauces. Chips were fresh ! The prime rip dip was truly one of the best sandwich's I've ever had, the meat was tender, flavorful and the in-house made bread was soft, light and delicious. The french fries were fresh. If you like cornbread you HAVE to try theirs and even if you dont- still try it - it has a hint of spice , i believe from jalapenos, it was soft, moist, just scrumptious ! Im not usually a fan of Tres Leches cake but this was heavenly ! It wasnt overly saturated or sweet, the cake was soft, and the fruits around it were a nice contrast. Everything was well plated, portions were great and our server was so kind (Im sorry i dont remember her name =( ) Highly recommend if you're in the area !

We stopped by Elvie for happy hour, and while the experience was fine overall, it wasn't memorable enough to make me want to return. The service was friendly, although our server spent a lot of time hyping up the menu, which unfortunately set expectations much higher than what the food actually delivered. The much-praised Elvie ice cream turned out to be a perfectly ordinary caramel ice cream—good, but nothing particularly unique. I also ordered the key lime pie, which was beautifully presented and tasted pleasant, but for the price, I wasn't especially impressed. I've had frozen Marie Callender's key lime pie that I honestly enjoyed just as much, if not more. As for the food: Spicy Tuna Roll – Well below average. Lacked flavor and didn't stand out in any way. Walleye Ceviche – Easily the weakest dish of the meal and one of the least enjoyable ceviches I've had. Spinach & Artichoke Dip – A generous portion served with warm tortilla chips. Solid and probably the safest choice. Beef & Cheddar Slider – The highlight of our meal. Flavorful, juicy, and the best item we ordered. Wagyu Chicago-Style Hot Dog – Decent, but nothing memorable. Hand-Cut Fries – Tasty, but they arrived cold to lukewarm. After we asked, they kindly reheated them. Overall, nothing was bad enough to ruin the meal, but very little stood out in a positive way either. With so many great happy hour options in Chicago, I don't see myself coming back.

Classy place but not pretentious at all. Got the steak frittes with carrots instead of fries. The smoked carrots were amazing. Skirt steak was fantastic and perfectly done. Did not regret skipping the ribeye at all. Wife’s wedge with the best bacon- and kids cheese was spot on for a sometimes picky eater.

Beautiful atmosphere and luxurious. We had a reservation so we got seated right away. The restaurant has quiet music and it is not loud so conversing is easy and pleasant. Service was good, we felt taken care of. Food was absolutely delicious except for one thing- we ordered two different types of steak and they both came ice cold even though they looked freshly made. Our server was absent for a while before she brought the main dish so she was either late with bring it up or the steak was ready before the sides. The Greek salad doesn’t have enough feta cheese so it’s not worth the price but the taste was good. They do offer one ice cream scoop with a candle for birthdays. But they do have a few other desserts too. Overall it was a good experience

We sat at the bar and ordered a piece of nigiri as an appetizer and I had the salmon, with rice and bok choy. The food was delicious and the drinks were as well. I had an Old Fashioned and mocha martini. The bartenders were attentive & the service was good. The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance & decor and the noise levels were good where we could hear each other talk. The prices were high, but not unexpected for downtown Chicago.
