Various delicious, gluten free dairy-free options. However, note if you have celiacs the crust is cooked in the same oven as regular pizzas. That said homeslie is the perfect evening out for a summer night in Chicago.
I was in Chicago/surrounding suburbs and had to try local hand tossed pizza. I had NO REGRETS eating here! They have a variety of pizzas that you don't see often. Their elote/corn dip was the star of the show, best appetizer. It had the savory components and just that slight refreshing, sweetness from the corn. We had the Birria Pizza & Nadene (requested no pepperoni as I don't eat pork). The consomme was lacked strong flavor and was watered down, but the pizza made up for it. Desert is always the last rhing on my mind, but I'm glad I tried it. If you're a sucker for ice cream sandwiches like me & rice crispy treats, you'll enjoy their desert options. I would come back again just for the corn dip!
1st time here after a Poetry Reading at DePaul University. Staff was friendly and food was good. Since there was a big crowd, we just ordered Pizza, Salad and Wine which were all great. Will definitely return. We sat in the back, just under the train tracks which you can definitely hear, but didn't bother us as we were having a great time
Tried the Big Teve pizza and mozzarella bread sticks. The bread sticks were really good and the marinara sauce was yummy! The pizza was just okay though, flavor was a bit off for us.
Homeslice pizza in Lincoln Park. Very delicious pizza, with many choices of unique pizza topping combinations... Pizza by the slice as well...a wide selection of options for all pizza items for non pizza lovers as well. Very good beer selection...They've got a ton of toppings, and a bunch of different cheeses to choose from. I like that, you really can create so many different sorts of flavor profiles... it elevates the pizza beyond typical pizza flavors. But you know me I love just your basic cheese pizza lol....oh you have have to get the Bread sticks and Goat cheese appetizer that's a 100% must. Best appetizer in my opinion! Only negative thing is, it’s a little bit pricey for pizza other than that 100% recommend!
