10/10 experience. Cole was an EXCELLENT server. Super attentive to the table and knowledgeable to all things food and wine! We started with the focaccia and whipped ricotta which was delicious. For our mains, my mom and I split the ricotta gnocchi and the carbonara. The gnocchi was bursting with flavor!! It basically melted in your mouth. The carbonara was also delicious and cooked perfectly. My dad got the short rib which was also amazing. For dessert, we got the tiramisu and it was of course, delicious. I got an espresso martini which I thought to be okay but I also never get espresso martinis without baileys so I know for next time. Lastly, the restaurant is super cute and cozy, it’s perfect!
Ciccio Mio truly exceeded my expectations! We sat on the patio and it was perfect for a relaxing dinner. Our waitress was absolutely amazing: friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The food was incredible, with every dish full of flavor and beautifully presented. Everything was top-notch. Highly Recommend!
Ciccio Mio gave us an unforgettable dining experience. Every single dish, from the rich, comforting pasta to the perfectly cooked mains, was flawless. The attention to detail and ingredient quality is top-notch. The restaurant has this beautifully warm, dim-lit atmosphere that made our night even more special. The wine pairing was a perfect match, and the service was highly professional. One of the top spots in Chicago for sure.
Waited quite a while to get seated with a reservation, they were upfront with us, they do have valet which is not complimentary. The atmosphere is really unique and cozy it’s a great vibe. The food is was really good and the ricotta gnocchi was the best unique texture and the filling was very smooth. The truffle pasta was also a unique pasta well seasoned. The vodka rigatoni was a great classic can’t go wrong. My favorite dish was the pavlova it was a very good dessert filled with different flavors of sweet and tangy with different textures overall a good place to visit albeit the wait time was quite extended despite our reservation. Worth the visit.
We had a delicious meal here while in Chicago for work. The service is super attentive and the room is stunning. Really gives you old school American Italian vibes, a place your nonno would love! We started with the Caesar salad, polenta, and meatballs and they were all bangers. Pastas were all tasty as well, vodka rigatoni was a hit. Finally we had the veal parm and it was great, perfectly cooked with a good balance of cheese and sauce. We will definitely be back!
