10/10 HAD THE BEST DINNER HERE!!! Lovely service, atmosphere is incredible. We had the focaccia, carrots, vodka pasta, and double baked burger. Will 100% be coming back!
Amazing food, wine, and cocktail selection, great atmosphere, and super quick service, this place is an amazing add to the neighborhood. It's wild that I used to party here until 4a in my 20s... The place is almost unrecognizable, the wood paneling, the bar, and the upstairs steakhouse (not open yet) are all incredible. We came on a Friday at 5p and the bar and restaurant were packed, so def make a reservation. There is a happy hour, (4-5:30p I think?)even on Friday's which shocked me, cocktails were $9.95 which was a heck of a deal. Loved the espresso martini, old fashioned, and the dirty martini was much sweeter than I'm used to and wasn't for me. They have tons of classic cocktails on the menu. My wife has the NA cocktail called the Grapefruit Daiquiri and it was amazing, couldn't tell it was NA. They also had an NA prosecco which was good. Ok, for the food, get the parker rolls (5/5), and the chopped salad to split. We also loved the clam chowder and French onion soup (5/5), Lastly we split the burger (5/5)and were so stuffed we couldn't eat anymore. We loved all of the food and can't wait to come back and order more.
Great experience and will be coming back to try more. Went for happy hour and they have great deals on cocktails! Love judging a place by its dirty martini and espresso martinis and theirs were excellent. As for food, we got the focaccia, mussels, and a couple of the pastas. Overall, tasty with good portions. My only callout is the vodka pasta was a bit too salty and overpowered the dish. The lasagna was also a fun fake but probably wouldn’t get it again as I didn’t love the cream sauce that came with it. Lastly, our server Isaac was beyond helpful. Always making sure I had a drink ready and paced the meal well. Never felt pressured to hurry up with making decisions or having to order everything at once which was nice. Also gave excellent recommendations on what to try.
It was very busy and I see why! Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. We did not have a reservation, but the host was kind enough to help us find a seat at the bar. Drinks and food were amazing. Very attentive staff that were working hard but making sure everyone felt welcome and attended to. Will come again!
Had such a great experience! The space is absolutely gorgeous: beautiful design, amazing atmosphere, and such a fun, elevated vibe. The cocktails were incredible, the food was delicious, and everything was really thoughtful from start to finish. What stood out the most was the staff and the people behind the restaurant. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and clearly very talented. You can tell a lot of passion went into creating this place. Definitely one of my favorite new spots in Chicago already and I highly recommend checking it out.
