I've come here and off and on since they opened. I've had pretty positive experiences with the food. Everything I've had is at least a 7/10 and the food hall prepares items fairly quickly. I had a very uncomfortable experience at the bar today at 2pm. After getting food from the the food hall, I wanted to order a cocktail. At first I stood near the bar for just a couple of minutes and no one acknowledged me. I decided to sit down in a seat at the end of the bar closer to the bartender. He was working through table orders and I know they were busy. I was trying to be patient. I sat at the bar for almost 30 minutes (eating at this point) and not one staff member acknowledged me. With the exception of one staff member that removed the menu near me towards the end of my time there 🫠. I also noticed that every person that sat at the bar after me was greeted immediately. I never had the opportunity to order a cocktail. I hope the bar management will work on encouraging their staff to provide service equal service to everyone no matter who they are.
Have been here several times and really enjoy the fact that you can visit with a larger group and everyone can find something that they like to eat. Was easy to place an order via the kiosk and our food was available within a few minutes. From Asian to American to Chicago Hot Dogs to etc. there is something for everyone in this place!
Love this place! I come to study here all the time. Staff is super friendly, and they have EVERYTHING. Be sure to go to top floor, it’s better there in the bar area near the windows. You can see the Chicago architecture.
I visited Aster Hall and loved the clean, cozy, and modern atmosphere. Ordering was easy using the self-service kiosks. The restrooms were also clean and well-maintained. Overall, a comfortable place to dine, with a variety of menu options available.
