⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Emily at the VIG IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, she is very comforting and welcoming! The Vig absolutely exceeded my expectations! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is incredible—modern, energetic, and the perfect mix of classy and laid-back. Whether you’re grabbing lunch, dinner, or drinks with friends, the vibes are unmatched. The food was phenomenal. I ordered the steak sandwich with fries, the chimichurri steak, and a salad, and every single dish was packed with flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly, incredibly tender, and the chimichurri added the perfect fresh, bold kick. The steak sandwich was one of the best I’ve had—juicy, loaded with flavor, and served on fresh bread. The fries were crispy, seasoned perfectly, and impossible to stop eating. Even the salad was fresh, crisp, and made with high-quality ingredients. The service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do, and it shows in both the food and hospitality. If you’re looking for one of the best restaurants around with amazing food, great service, and an awesome atmosphere, The Vig is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal. Five stars all the way!
Handled a party of Fourteen well ! Here with business partners while in town and the experience was very good. The place was JAMMING! Lots of action and great people watching. This is not a quiet restaurant. Lots going on. If you are looking for some intimacy this is not the place. Appetizers were unique and delicious. Lobster deviled eggs and other such like-ables .The ribs were EXCELLENT with a sauce that had a spicy kick that was not over the top. The tuna entree was OK and cooked as it should be. Fries delicious. I have to note that they delivered HOT TOWELS to clean up from the rib entree. What a unique and nice touch! Serena our server was polite and efficient. We would return.
We had a fantastic time dining at the VIG. Quite a few vegetarian options and a nice selection of house cocktails. I tried the broccoli offered as a daily vegetable special and the corn fritters. They were both excellent. My friends enjoyed their burger/sandwiches as well. Service was quick and polite.
Service was excellent from start to finish, and the classic drinks were done perfectly. They clearly know what they’re doing behind the bar. The food was also very good, flavorful and satisfying, making the whole experience even better. We stumbled upon The Vig while traveling after leaving The Second City, and it turned out to be a true gem. Just a short walk away and easy to get into, it has a fun, lively atmosphere that makes it a great place to hang out with friends. Definitely a spot worth checking out and one I would highly recommend.
Service was excellent from start to finish, with staff who clearly know what they’re doing. The drinks were spot on, especially the classics, made the right way and really well balanced. The food was also very good, flavorful and satisfying across the board. The place has a chic, energetic vibe that makes it a fun night out. Music is on the louder side, so it is more suited for a lively evening than a quiet dinner. The atmosphere, food, and service all come together for a great experience, and it is definitely a spot worth recommending.
