I tried my first class at Soul House Saturday and WOW it was incredible. I went to Emma's reset class and was so struck by the way she was able to create such an intentional, restorative container in the form of the class. I came away feeling so filled up in the best way. From the way she gave direction of where we'd be going to how the poses seemed to flow so naturally from one to the next to the gentle offering of options to best accommodate our different bodies and contexts, Emma brought a level of care, intentionality, and expertise that really made for a wonderful, restorative experience
I’ve been exploring healing arts for a while and had wanted to get Reiki certified, but the timing never quite worked out—until it did. I was supposed to be working one of my other roles that day, but my class got canceled, and it happened to be the same weekend as the Reiki certification course. It felt like absolute kismet, so I booked the Reiki 1 & 2 immersion at Soul House. The studio itself is beautifully intentional, filled with natural light, live plants, and a calming, almost Bali-like energy that instantly puts you at ease. I had such a meaningful experience completing my Reiki certification here. Anytime you’re learning something new, it’s natural to feel a bit of imposter syndrome at first. Cara created a space that guided us to trust our own intuition, which made the experience feel empowering rather than overwhelming. The teaching was supportive, grounding, and easy to connect with, especially as I was learning energy work for the first time. Our cohort was honestly blown away by what we were able to tap into and accomplish by the end of the course. I left feeling more connected and excited to continue this work. So grateful for the guidance and energy of this space. If you’re considering getting Reiki certified, you’ll love getting it done here!
It’s hard to put into words how great my experience was at Soul House. Everyone I interacted with was so kind and warm! My weekend learning Reiki 1 & 2 was incredible and I know it’s going to have a lasting positive impact on my life (and those around me). Whether you’re just stepping into something like yoga/meditation or you’re a seasoned practitioner - this place is for you. I can’t wait for my next visit. Thanks to the entire Soul House team for creating a wonderful environment for everyone.
Soul House is one of the most beautiful and serene yoga facilities I've ever seen. The owner is just as beautiful. The pictures does no justice for how it makes you feel while you're there. This night a Chicago Artist, AJ Williams was sharing her talents and voice to a wonderful group of friends. It was so amazing. Thank You all for the experience and extremely wonderful hospitality.
