Description

Neon Paddle: Glowing Motorized Paddleboard Tours On The Chicago River. This is a one of a kind experience and can only be found in Chicago. No paddling experience is needed. Each board is fully electric, controlled by a wrist-strapped remote with three simple buttons: Forward, Reverse, and Stop. The boards cruise at a comfortable 3.8 to 5 mph — the perfect pace to soak up the scenery. Sit, kneel, or stand — the choice is yours. (Our boards are equipped with Kayak seats) Every tour includes our Dinghy DJ which is a guide in an inflatable boat at the back of the tour playing a curated playlist for the group. Tours launch from Ping Tom Memorial Park in Chinatown, just ten minutes from the Loop and a short walk from the Red Line's Cermak-Chinatown stop. Expert, CPR-certified guides lead every tour and provide a full safety demonstration before launch. All guests receive a life jacket, ankle leash, and safety whistle. A secure, locked storage bin is available on site for personal belongings. This is an 18+ experience. Guests must be able to swim and weigh under 250 lbs. Please arrive 30 minutes before your tour time dressed and ready for the water. Important: All bookings must be made at least 4 hours in advance. Tours may be rescheduled or refunded due to lightning, winds over 15 mph, heavy rain, or temperatures under 60 degrees.
