Took all the ladies in my family out for a few drinks, and a rooftop dinner. Cabra has been on my hit list for a min and we finally had a chance to come check it out. Wow!! We will definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu. We had the Steak Saltado, Shrimp Ceviche, Pork Shank with crisp skin, Roasted chicken and for Dessert we had the doughnuts and the Strawberry cream dessert and everything was super good. Alex our server was a whole vide and we will be asking for him next time we come.

The host was very accommodating after we were an hour late to our reservation on a Friday night. The atmosphere was so refreshing and fun. The pool area is unique, and would highly recommend getting a table near the outdoor area. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful but the service was very slow, and our order never came until we asked about it about an hour later. But overall can’t wait to go back.

This is our second time eating here and first time for brunch. We made reservations for Father’s Day to have a brunch with the whole family. I’ll start with kid friendly. There were children of all ages with big and small families. Cabra accommodated everyone. Drinks, we decided to have the non-alcoholic passion fruit drink which was good. See the picture. Food, ceviche good, empanadas good, and the surprise favorite was the quinoa French toast. I saved it for dessert. A separate gluten free menu is great for the gluten free eaters.

Nice indoor/enclosed rooftop, nice decor at a happening hotel. The cocktails were mid for $20, and the bartender didn't know the difference between rum and cashaca. The portions for a shared "tapa" shared experience, were on the small side. I never mind spending $$$ but it has to be worth it, I like leaving a place after dropping $200+ for a brunch, but would like to leave very satisfied. This was not the case. Our server, a Hispanic young lady, was very curt and matter a fact, she read the specials and her recommendations as if by rote, she seemed uninterested and I would have liked someone else to have made the place vibe. The dj was a nice touch, but again, the place lacks soul. Like a pretty girl/boy, who is empty inside.

We came here for date night. Food at Cabra is designed to be shared and they have a substantial gluten-free menu that also have celiac specific indicators (which is super cool so gold star). On the non-gluten-free side of things, I decided I had to have the goat empanadas and they certainly lived up to the hype. The real star of the show, however, was the tuna tataki which was gluten-free. The steak saltado was also delicious. The rooftop location is definitely a great vibe and we will hope to make it back in the near future.
