Reviews
We went on a Thursday night as recommended in other reviews. The resident performer was great. I loved her energy and she has a beautiful voice. I tried the improved whiskey, 10/10 recommend it if you are a whiskey drinker. I love old fashions, so this was perfect. But drink with caution because it is strong. Crowded of course. If you are planning to visit, book a reservation so you can have a comfortable seat. You won’t be able to see the performance from your seat if it’s crowded. But my ears worked fine. Hospitality was great thanks to our server. Unfortunately, I didn’t get his name, but he was tall, white, tatted fore arms and blonde. Thanks for making our first night out in Chicago a great one Lazy Bird❤️
Amazing jazz place with live music and an unforgettable atmosphere. Great people, delicious cocktails, and such a special vibe. Definitely worth visiting!
I had no idea just how vibes this space is. And the food is from The Hoxton which is absolutely terrific like that spicy crab finger sandwiches and shrimp cocktail. Attended an event there tonight and loved it so much.
Great live music — the singer was amazing and brought such a good vibe. The interior feels like a cozy library with books around, which makes the atmosphere even more special. Huge variety of drinks, so you can really enjoy the night. Definitely a 5-star experience.
"Hidden bar" in the basement of the Hoxton. Carries a distinct speak easy vibe with semi private booths, two bars, and a music stage. Service was friendly and the drinks were good. Was a great spot to drop in for a one and done before dinner.
