Reviews
Allow me to wax poetic for a moment as I tell just what a great experience my friends and I had at Glascott’s. One of my best friends graduated with her masters this week (let’s pause and acknowledge her accomplishments for a second) and so myself and our other best friend made the journey from Iowa to celebrate. Obviously we knew this weekend would be busy but after dinner we underestimated just how busy places would be. After a couple fails we found this place and honestly felt like we found a hidden gem. The bar was still packed, but not enough that it made you feel like sardines. The three of us still comfortably could play cards at the bar, dance and talk to passers by through the windows. Now, to the real star of the show, Ralph. Ralph made 3 Midwest gals feel like the main characters for the night. He made us laugh, never let our drinks go empty, and completely turned the night around for us. In my opinion he completely curates the energy of that room and does it with finesse. I hope that this bar knows what a gem they have behind the bar. Ralph, if you are reading this, we love you and we hope you like your rocks! :)
Came in on a Wednesday night, place was PACKED but the super cute brunette behind the bar got to us within 2 mins of standing at the bar. Drinks were great, vibes were immaculate! 10 STARS!
We went to Glascott's on a Saturday night and enjoyed the lively atmosphere of the bar during a UD Flyers Basketball Game. My wife is a UD alum and enjoyed the game being on with the banner recognizing the 2020 National Championship 'probably'! There was a skee ball league finishing up their season that evening, and everyone there was super pleasant and inclusive. Glascott's is worth the stop for some drinks with friends on a Saturday!
