Had the most amazing treatment today, consisting of the infrared sauna with the lymphatic massage. The spa was beautiful, immaculately, clean, and so relaxing. One of the best massages I’ve ever had! It is expensive, but worth it for a treat
I hate to leave a bad review, but felt like it was necessary given the quality of service / spa vs. what was advertised (and for the pricing). When entering the spa and beginning your session, they bring you back to change in a community bathroom that feels somewhat like a hospital bathroom/high school locker room. They give you a choice of robes to put on, all of which were tinted a weird yellow/brownish color so as that you could tell they were extremely old and worn down. When I began my sauna session, the person working with me was extremely nice. However, all they did was wrap you in a few rounds of saran wrap and call it something special and charge a lot of money for it. The speakers/bluetooth capability that was advertised in the sauna was not working, and the shower that was in my room afterwards had a broken handle so the shower would not even stay on unless I was simultaneously holding the handle while showering. After that, I went to the lymphatic drainage massage. My masseuse was a lovely woman (I think her name was Leah?) and was very sweet, respectful, and informative. My only complaint here is that the massage basically did absolutely nothing. There was no noticeable difference immediately after or any time after. Overall I feel like the experience was just overpromised and underperformed, and it was sort of a scheme to advertise this very well put together place and charge you $300 for the whole experience, and have it just be very mediocre. All of the staff was wonderful and very friendly, it was just the overall experience that was a bummer.
I did the signature brazilian lymp massage and it truly was the BEST experience! Nala is amazing, highly recommend her. I tried lymp massages before, and this place is the best one I tried so far, and Nala is so experienced. Also the detox wrap and sauna with lymph combo was truly life changing!
We had a great experience at Freeze and Float. The staff were exceptionally courteous and respectful from the moment we walked in. They took the time to explain exactly what to expect during my session, which made me feel comfortable and well-informed. Highly recommended for their professional and welcoming service!
