Description
Experience sweeping views from the Centennial Wheel, located at the historic Navy Pier in Chicago. Suspended above Lake Michigan near the Chicago River's mouth, the wheel offers expansive sights of the city skyline and water.
Choose between two ticket options: the Regular Barcoded ticket allows you to skip the ticket line and join the boarding line, while the Fastpass Express ticket lets you bypass all lines with VIP access. Both options are valid for seven days from the chosen date.
Built in 2016 to commemorate Navy Pier's 100th anniversary, the wheel features 42 gondolas, each seating 8 people. Operating year-round, gondolas include LED lighting, padded seats, TV screens, speakers, and panoramic windows on all sides.
A complete ride includes three full revolutions, providing ample time to enjoy shifting viewpoints of Chicago. Whether relaxing or photographing the cityscape, the experience offers unique perspectives at the top of the wheel.

- Tickets are valid for one ride up to 7 days after the chosen date, allowing flexible planning around weather conditions. Children 2 and under ride free.
- Navy Pier Summer Fireworks occur every Wednesday and Saturday evening from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with possible additional shows throughout the year.
- The Centennial Wheel and other Pier Park attractions may close temporarily due to weather such as lightning, high winds, or extreme cold for guest safety.
- Only service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted onboard.
- A 9% City of Chicago Amusement tax is included in the ticket price.
