Description
Experience live science experiments and hands-on exhibits that encourage learning through doing. Discover the science behind weather phenomena such as tornadoes, lightning, fire, tsunamis, sunlight, avalanches, and atoms.
See a giant Tesla coil emitting 12,000 volts of electricity, take a tour through a model of the human digestive system, run inside a human-sized hamster wheel, and board a Boeing 727 suspended from the ceiling. Explore the Coal Mine exhibit and learn about the history and future of space travel at the Henry Crown Space Center.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing – The Exhibition runs through April 26, 2026. This special exhibit is not included with general admission and requires an additional ticket.
The museum is located a few miles south of Downtown Chicago and offers convenient underground parking. It features interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, special events, and large-format movie screenings.
