The Chicago Architecture Center, located at 111 East Wacker Drive, serves as the city’s hub for architecture and design. Housed in a building designed by the Office of Mies van der Rohe and Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, it features a 20,000-square-foot space with floor-to-ceiling glass walls overlooking iconic structures like Tribune Tower and the Wrigley Building.

The Center hosts docent-led tours, interactive exhibits, and a popular expanded Chicago Model that highlights the city's growth, architecture, and innovations. Visitors can engage with touch screens to explore building details, architects, and walking tours while learning about Chicago’s architectural milestones from the Home Insurance Building to the Willis Tower and beyond.

The Drake Family Skyscraper Gallery presents 'Building Tall,' showcasing skyscraper design and engineering breakthroughs, including projects like the Chicago Willis Tower and Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah Tower. The Chicago Gallery features more than 4,000 buildings in its model, accompanied by a dynamic film and light show.
