The 23,000-square-foot Chicago Sports Museum celebrates the city’s iconic teams and athletes through immersive technology and extensive memorabilia. Visitors can test athletic skills, comparing their abilities to legends like Steve Stone, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Richard Dent using body-tracking technology.
Explore displays of game-worn gear, championship rings, and replicas such as William “Refrigerator” Perry’s Super Bowl ring. The Forensic Sports exhibit features a CT scan of Sammy Sosa’s corked bat and the history of baseballs. In the Fan Zone, visitors can stand under the original basketball hoop from Michael Jordan’s 1998 NBA Finals shot.
The Hall of Legends includes virtual reality games like home run contests with Frank Thomas and local sports trivia. The museum also houses the city’s largest collection of 2016 World Series memorabilia, including items from David Ross, Kris Bryant, and Addison Russell.
