Howl at the Moon Chicago

A must-do in Chicago. Some friends we were traveling with planned this outing. I was hesitant, thought it would be a typical dueling pianos type place. We reserved a table (don’t think that was necessary), arrived early and the place was virtually empty which further heightened my fear we were in for a boring night. Completely wrong. After a few piano-only numbers, other band members appeared one by one with different instruments and vocals. Every member of the “cast” was an outstanding musician on multiple instruments and their voices equally as good. They took requests and had a large catalog of songs. After an hour the place was packed and everyone was whooping and dancing. Most fun we’d had at a club in a long time (granted we are in our 60’s but there were plenty of much younger people enjoying themselves). Do it, you won’t be disappointed. Did not eat any food so can’t opine there.
Dueling piano bar that has some very talented musicians! 4 people were shifting to all the instruments, singing, and engaging the audience and creating a very fun environment! Drinks were good. Vibe was awesome! Girls, beware... bathroom is up 2 flights of stairs.
Didn't eat and my friend said her margaritas were not delicious but oh wow the atmosphere was amazing. I did not have high expectations for a chain piano bar but I was blown away. The musicians were phenomenal. Incredible talent as they rotated through not just piano but drums and guitars too, and all of them had great voices and great stage presence. It was really a fantastic evening of music. Get there early to grab a table, even on a Tuesday night, the place was packed by 9pm. Can't wait to go back. It's a new favorite.
Im not sure if they even had food.. We made it there around 1130 pm.. So kitchen was probably closed. It was a live band playing other Artist music.. the crowd was able to choose what songs were sung. Cool atmosphere! I would definitely recommend.. The crowd on Saturday was definitely a younger crowd like in there early twenties but the music was good and the band was entertaining..
Fantastic piano bar (with drums and guitar). The musicians that performed were super talented, they played classics like bohemian rapsody and incorporated recent hits like pink pony club. The crowd was entertained and energized all night! Most fun we had during our visit to Chicago. There is a $10 cover charge.
