Been a regular here for YEARS! Truly a place that feels like home and I can’t recommend a better bar if you’re in wicker park! Jen and Dave never disappoint (order an extra dirty martini from Jen and an old fashion from Dave).
The low hum of conversation was a nice backdrop. We managed to snag a comfortable booth that fit our group perfectly. It felt like a proper neighborhood watering hole, relaxed and easygoing, though it did get pretty crowded as the evening wore on.
Walked in to kill some time. I ordered an old-fashioned and chose to sit at a table. This is the perfect bar for a first date or to catch up with an old friend. There are plenty of other restaurants and bars within walking distance and this bar is both a great place to either start out at or to end your night. In terms of lighting and ambiance alone, it’s a solid ten out of ten.
