- rooms were pretty nice: furniture looked somewhat new - king rooms are all positioned around the elevators. the elevators at this property are noisy, so i didn’t get a good night’s sleep. the 2 queen rooms are further away and didn’t have any noise issues; i slept soundly. - exercise room has an amazing view and a functioning peloton, which is a plus. One peloton did not work though. - front desk was very nice. in summary, totally fine if you are booking a 2Q, but beware elevator noise if booking a 1K.
Staff was fine. Room was okay. Just like any other hotel room I've stayed in. Location was perfect for our stay. The biggest problem is. We paid almost 500$ for 1 night. It still has 2 photos of their pool my kids were excited. And apparently its been closed down for a year. I had read that the elevators can take awhile. We were on the 25th floor. We were there bc my son got very sick and where I live there isnt a specialist for him so we have to travel hours for that. We wondered why last time we were in the area it was 179$ for all the hotels around the area and this time it was 500$ all around. Ultimately we picked this one for the roof top pool... that they dont have. Back to the elevators. Thursday morning we are heading out and while standing for an elevator I booked my Uber (mind you booking an uber takes time. It took approx 3 to 4 mins to find an Uber). Then that uber was 6 mins away. My first Uber came and left. Bc they came and left, Uber searched for a new one for me. After another 4ish mins of searching they found another one that was 7 mins out. Surely the elevator would be here in another 7 mins. Over 20 mins in total waiting for the elevator. When it finally opened it was so full there was absolutely no room in there. I ended up having to carry my son down 25 flights of stairs to catch my 2nd Uber and to not miss his appointments for the day. I can barely move the next day bc of it. If I had paid less than 200$ for this experience id be annoyed still but not pissed. But 500$ no pool, crap elevators, oh and hot breakfast was gross eggs, sausage, potatoes, and waffles (waffle line was huge) i would've thought 500$ a night would get a better experience. We will not be staying here again.
good location!..... But dated and dirty. Carpets and chairs are gross in halls, rooms, elevators and breakfsst area. On hold for over 20 min to get some information ahead of our trip and ended up just waiting until we arrived only to find slow and uncoordinated staff for check in. Extremely long wait for the elevator....25+ min so we missed breakfast once and caught the tail end one morning- mid selection for breakfast. Our room was odd but the door wouldnt even swing all the way open, gets about 50° before hitting the ceiling and bathroom was very small and awkward shaped, door swings into the toilet and tub so you cant ever use the bathroom without walking around and closing the door. our room fridge froze everything solid. linens were clean. but for how much a room is we were disappointed.
My son and his wife had to change rooms twice in a day because of no air conditioning. The second room they walked into and they immediately walked out of because there was no air and a box fan. My room had visible piles of hair on the bathroom floor. I asked a housekeeper if I could get more towels and body wash for the shower one morning and she said no, she couldn't give it to us because we had a do not disturb sign on the door and that we would have to go down to the desk. The saving grace was the gentleman at the front desk was nice and the woman, who I believe was conceirge, was also extremely nice.
