My husband and I were in town visiting for our wedding anniversary. We booked a couples massage for Jul 25th to enjoy some relaxtion before we started our day. We arrived early and were checked in right away. We were given tours of the locker rooms and other amenities. We enjoyed a small snack prior to our service. Koko did an amazing job with my husband's massage. I can't say enough great things about Shannon who customized my service based on our pre service conversation. Shannon suggested some stretches that I can incorporate into my daily routine. We took advantage of sauna and hot tub. I highly recommend the spa!
I had such a relaxing time (that's the point) at this spa. I was visiting Chicago for the 1st time last week and decided to put this on my list of things to do before my full weekend and excursions got started. I was greeted very warmly, pleasantly and professionally by Molly. Then I was transferred over to spa professional Tichina. She was very warm, bubbly and helpful. While I did not have a service she still took the time to provide me with a thorough tour. I utilized all amenities and enjoyed myself. I truly felt relaxed. Also liked the tea area and trail mix which was jut enough. I do look forward to returning and trying a service in the future. Only suggestion--I truly came for the steam room and relaxation. The steam was perfect except it the equipment can be checked out as when the mist would automatically come on during the process, the machine would make a loud, boom sound. I was dozing off and it this frightened me and certainly messed up the relaxation vibes.
Ohhhhh M G!!! I had such a relaxing experience at the JW Marriot Spa in Chicago. Calming, rejuvenating, serene, etc - all the things you'd expect a spa to be. ...but elevated. Kharis's hands... Listen... How is it possible for someone to fall asleep during a deep pressure massage? I mean knocked out (like a baby) while someone is pushing on and pulling your body? The only explanation I can think of is magic. It's a must that I give her all the accolades and she receives acknowledgement of her amazing service. I didn't want to leave her table. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Greeted once stepping off the elevator. Offered a sweet sip while waiting to be seen, escorted to the locker room and received a full tour of the facility, relaxed in another room while waiting for my massage, then received a "glowing" facial. If you're considering ways to treat/pamper yourself, stop scrolling and make reservations here.
Our family had a relaxing day at the Spa at JW. I had two massages booked for a mother/daughter spa day, coincidentally another daughter arrived in town that day from out of the country. When my husband and I finished our yoga class, Marla at the spa front desk heard our story and offered to comp my husband and other daughter for the spa that day. It was such a surprise and much appreciated. The massages I had booked were fantastic--very relaxing. Marla was great--so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.
