Great spacious rooms with friendly and helpful cleaning staff. Gorgeous lobby that marries Chicago’s art deco roots and the Motor Row location. Lovely breakfast buffet (the breakfast lady Chen was the highlight of my stay - helpful, kind and accommodating re: allergies or special dietary requests). There’s a Starbucks on the ground floor, as well as separate elevators for each hotel under the Hilton umbrella. An ice machine on each floor was a boon in the sweltering summer heatwave.
We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Chicago McCormick Place! The hotel was very clean, offered a wonderful complimentary breakfast, and was in a central location that made getting around Chicago easy. Our room also had a great view of Chicago’s South Side. Since we were not far from anything, our Uber and Lyft rides were very reasonably priced. There is also a Harold’s Chicken directly across the street, which was very convenient. The hotel was a great value for the price, and we would absolutely stay here again!

The price was more affordable compared to surrounding hotels and still provided a comparable amenities. The room was large and spacious. The bathroom was as well. Everything was clean and up to date. Free soaps, shampoos, and bottle water was provided for free. The view from the window was fantastic. The AC kept me nice and cold. There was no noise pollution. Breakfast was included for free and was your standard affair. The staff were courteous and helpful, even after I locked my key in my room on accident. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will be considering staying there again.
The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The pool, breakfast space, gym, and everywhere we went was clean and well maintained. Elevators were quick and always available, breakfast was hot and delicious, starbucks is in the lobby, valet price is very reasonable and efficient, staff has been nothing but kind. We’ve really enjoyed our stay here!
I had a most wonderful stay at this hotel during a recent trip to Chicago. Upon arrival the service immediately set the tone for the stay. The hotel is valet only and does not offer covered parking, which is less than ideal, but the valet just uses the lot located directly behind the property to the left of the building. If you are going to be using your vehicle like I was, the added $10 a night is worth it to do the valet to have the in/out privileges, but if you plan to leave your car I would look into finding cheaper parking and using the CTA as the hotel is less than three blocks away from both the bus and train station. The hotel is located in a quieter area so noise really isn’t an issue, and the rooms are also pretty well soundproofed so neither I nor my friends had any issue sleeping. The room was spotless and I appreciated the four towels in the rooms over the usual three. I got a corner room and had three windows which let in a lot of natural light, and the AC also worked perfectly. Breakfast was wonderful and Patrice and Ashley made such a positive start to each day. There was one day where I was down later than the previous two nights (9:45 as opposed to 9:30), and they were willing to have made me my daily waffle and have it wait with a friend of mine to make sure I was able to have my food if I came after 10 when breakfast closed, which was an unexpected act of customer service which was truly appreciated. The front desk team also handled a potential severe weather episode with utmost professionalism as well, while nothing happened thankfully, seeing the team already had a plan in place helped reassure our confidence. While I cannot remember the whole team, Mario, Alexa, and Ramon were all wonderful. The laundry machines also worked well and were free, and detergent was not too expensive which made it very convenient to do some in-trip laundry. The only things I found could be improved is having more than one bell cart available and making it so you can take any set of elevators up to the guest rooms, because having two per hotel sometimes led to very long waits, and all the hotels are connected on each floor as one corridor. Overall I would absolutely return here next time I am in Chicago, though maybe I will do the Home2 next time to also take advantage of their longer term amenities. If you need a reliable hotel for a good price with amenities for longer stays, this is the best place to be, highly recommended.
