We were staying as hotel guests and had $100 to spend from Amex credit. We went for complimentary drinks during our stay. The fireplace was nice and the place wasn’t crowded which was a plus. Drinks were delicious!
My husband and I booked boozy afternoon tea here and were both incredibly disappointed. The photos of this place are pretty deceptive - this is a room attached to a hotel lobby, not a separate bar. We were directed to a wobbly bar table with stools and harsh overhead lighting, and we rarely saw our waiter. I don’t blame the waiter, but to have one waiter for an entire room is ridiculous. The food was cold and stale, and to the point where some of it wasn’t edible, despite the “fancy” ingredients. My husband also noted in our reservation that he’s allergic to shellfish, but they still served us two lobster quiches. The drinks were fine, but did not match the photos/vibe online at all. The waiter later moved us to a better table which was nice, but we were almost finished at that point. Huge bummer for a ridiculous price point ($268 including tax/tip for two people).
