Your journey begins at the Supreme Court, often called the “Marble Palace” for its striking white marble and classical design. Your expert guide will explain the Court’s role and highlight landmark cases that shaped the nation. Next, enjoy reserved entry to the U.S. Capitol on a docent-led tour. Explore the Crypt, Rotunda, and Statuary Hall while learning about the building’s architecture, its survival during the Burning of Washington, and the powerful symbolism behind the Statue of Freedom placed atop the dome during the Civil War.
